Inexpensive Digital signage solution to power 30 monitors?

I am looking for a low cost digital signage solution.

Basically i want to drive an LCD monitor with a flash visualization. Similar to a retail sign or information sign at the airport. I would sacrafice flash for a good solution. I would prefer to use/support opensource software.

The only caveat is that i need the solution to scale over 30 displays.

I have looked at possibly using 1 mac mini for each display. But the idea of managing 30 mac minis seems annoying. I think that the best solution would be the the cisco digital media player – http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps7220/index.html. But licensing for the management software is around 40k. But the price point of the appliance is perfect.

Do you know of any other solutions that are similar?
